iRadio Station of The Week

I've been on the road a lot lately, so I missed a couple of weeks, but here's one I've been listening to since I returned—If you like the adventurous side of jazz, I think you'll like this.

jazzradio.com offers 28 channels of jazz in all sorts of formats—cool jazz, vocals, Mellow, Straight-Ahead—lots of choices. The one I've picked as my station of the week is the channel called "Fusion Lounge"—it's a totally eclectic collection of vocals and instrumentals that run the gamut from electronica to ethereal to pop-sided alternative. So far I've heard little that I would label as traditional (guitar and sax). Instead, the emphasis is on percussion, synth and vocals. Enjoy.
